Draintech, the Midlands’ premier emergency and planned drainage service provider, has secured several major contracts, further strengthening its foothold in the region. Following a recent contract award from Leicester City Council, the company is proud to announce that it is now working with Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council to provide 24/7 emergency and planned drainage services for its extensive housing stock.
In a significant expansion of its operations, Draintech has also secured one of the largest social housing drainage contracts in the Midlands, covering over 38,000 properties across the West Midlands, East Midlands, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Northamptonshire, Shropshire, and Staffordshire.
This landmark contract positions Draintech as the sole contractor for comprehensive drainage services in these regions, reflecting the company’s industry-leading service model. Mobilization for this project is already underway, with services expected to commence in November. The company’s supply chain partners are actively engaged in providing the necessary plant, equipment, and vehicles to ensure a seamless rollout of the contract.
“We are delighted to have won these prestigious contracts,” said James Taylor, General Manager at Draintech. “These achievements underscore our commitment to delivering exceptional, reliable, and round-the-clock drainage services to local authorities and the wider social housing sector. Our teams are working diligently to ensure the successful mobilization of these contracts, and we are excited to bring our expertise to more communities across the Midlands.”
